I apologize for not taking photos during the tournament. I was so enraptured with playing the game, that it didn't even occur to me. So, I've included pictures of all of the players I could find. Accompanying them is a brief description of how and who they played. If there is anything I left out, please tell me.

Matt
The second most challenging opponent of the group. He was "imported" to Davis with Rachel and Ben. His favorite character seems to be Jun. He's got a thing for her 3-ring circus, and can string together some mean punches from her infinite combo. He was the only player to beat me (Marianne) during the tournament. His only losses were to me and once or twice to Rachel.

Ben
Third in rank of the night. He swapped between playing Jun and Paul. Although he pulled off some fantastically long combos with Jun, he didn't seem to be able to beat his compadre, Matt, too often. He's a solid player, and gave Melissa and Bill heavy competition. He can't dodge lasers worth beans though, and Rachel took advantage of this.

Rachel Barnett
Probably the luckiest button-smasher in the group (and my best friend for over a decade). Her favorite character is the Angel. She manages to consistently use grabs and annoying eye lasers well enough to take down even the most competant of Tekken players from apparently random chance. She beat just about everyone once or twice...except me, of course. ;)

Melissa Hardenbrook
A competant player. She usually alternates between Yoshimitsu and Nina, with sporadic use of Kunimitsu (she's so cute). With a knowledge of some of the nastier moves Yoshi has, and the ability to pull them off, she can be dangerous. She beat Bill, Rachel and Remington fairly consistently, and whupped Ola's ass pretty soundly.

Bill Kendrick
This is the man who addicted me to Tekken. He's on par with Melissa, his girlfriend, though perhaps a bit better. He chooses to use the original newbie character, Law. Although he didn't play much during this tournament, he beat Melissa and Remington when I was paying attention.

Ola Okupe
Ola is ostensibly the reason for the Tekken Tournament. In actuality, I found it a good excuse to play lots of Tekken. At any rate, he's awful. He lost every game he played. Although he claimed to have never played the game before, he must have played it at least once to know the name of the character he claimed was his best, Paul Phoenix.

Andy Steinhauer
Although Andy hasn't played Tekken for ridiculous amounts of hours, he picked up fairly quickly near the end. He has the potential to be a mean opponent, given some time and practice.

Remington Stone
Although he's a newbie to the game, he's got an insatiable desire to play against any opponent, regardless of the odds. If I recall, he and Rachel were somewhat evenly matched (barring laser weapons).

Marianne Waage
Although I may be a bit biased, I was the best player at the Tournament. My favorite character is Michelle, but I enjoy using Jun, Paul and Nina for their style and, importantly, their reversals. I've spent obscene amounts of time learning the game, and have a good knowledge of the blocks required against many of the combos. I trounced everyone there, with a loss or two against Matt.
